Welcome to Nelson Cricket Club

This Summer will be our 65th season and with the club as strong as ever the challenge is to continue to progress, stay competitive, yet offer enjoyable friendly cricket.

With the 1st XI in the Kent Regional League Div 1A and the 2nd XI in Div 2C plus the youth section going from strength to strength there has never been a better time to join Nelson CC.

We also run 3 adult and 3 youth indoor sides in the Thanet League.

2012 is the 7th season of youth cricket at Nelson and The Youth section continues to impress by giving everyone the opportunity to play in a competitive framework. The U11s in 2011 WON the Thanet Cricket League and CUP and the U13s made the quarter finals of the Kent Cup for the first time. They also won the Walmer Sixes for the first time too.The U15s were runners up in the Thanet Cup. All teams are making useful progress in the indoor leagues. Considering our principle aim is to give all our members opportunities to play whilst trying to win, we are continuing to make progress and we continue to focus on this goal.
